About Anita Penn

Anita Penn is an American writer. Her maternal family is of Norwegian descent and that is where she drew inspiration for her first book, Goodnight Troll.

Anita Penn is also a mother who loves reading books to her children, so she decided to write books her children could read to their children and so on. With hopes that no matter what happens in life, her stories will live on with them. 

​

Anita Penn grew up in South Texas with her family. While dysfunctional, she still loved them with all her heart. They may have not been the perfect family, but they were hers. With a broken home came an imagination and a need to escape into a world filled with wonder and beauty.

 

That's where her love of books came from. Early on in life Anita would day dream and escape real life by imaging a world of her own. A world of magic, adventure and fantasy.  She also had a tendency to embellish things for the great story factor. Everyone said "you should be a writer when you grow up with the stories you tell"  Life happened and Anita never got the chance to share her stories with the world until now.
